Humans have invented a lot of recreational activities and camping is one among them. It’s a nice way to spend some fun time with friends or family away from the regular place. People generally go out for several days and nights. People usually go out for this kind adventure in some forests or some solitary places. While some also go for camping on the river banks or sea shores, as this help them to enjoy camping as well as fishing at the same time. Fishing during camping is an out and out fun activity. It is not for competition, not for commercial motives neither for any other reasons. Here the travelers may not be a hardcore angler, even amateurs also flaunts there little fishing skills and they become outstandingly happy even if they end up catching a not so important fish. Fishing while camping does not requires any special angling technique, no fancy gears and even no special skills as well. You just have to have the zeal of having fun in the best possible way through the available circumstances.

A first hand planning will bring smiles your way and you will be enjoying it at its best. While you are out for camping on a sea shore or river bank or in any other place where you will be getting some chances to catch fishes, then it will always be wise to make yourself prepared before hand. It will let you not get disappointed and you will not be loosing any chances of fun and excitement.

Things that you should carry while camping and fishing:

Sleeping bag and/or blankets for warmth.

Sleeping pad

Lantern or flashlight

Hatchet, axe or saw for cutting firewood for a campfire

Folding chairs for placement around campfire and it will also help you to sit holding your fishing rod beside the waters

Ropes

Raincoat

Hiking boots

Fishing pole, line, reels and baits (artificial or alive). These are basics. Apart from them if you want you can also carry some fancy stuff according to toy choices. Don’t forget to carry your cooler to store your catches if you wish to cook them later.

Firewood for Camp Fires

While you are fishing, be a bit extra careful. Sometimes it is natural to be a bit more careless when you are out for some other reasons and your main motive is not fishing. But it is always wise to play it wisely. As we all know fishes are extra sensitive and they can very well smell if there is any danger for them around. We all know that camping is an activity which is very loud and people are always on a mood to have a bash. If you are truly keen to catch some fish then you need to be a little careful here and try and make a little lesser sound. Sit for fishing if you ample amount of time cause this needs a lot of patience and time.

If you are having kids with you then you can also engage them in this activity. The more members in the group the better chances to get some good catches. Although you will not be there for hardcore fishing, but then also if you can manage, try to get some idea about the place and the fishes that are found there beforehand. It will save a lot time and you need not to spend time searching hot spots. Camping is fun, undoubtedly, and if it is attached with fishing as well then you can guess what pleasures you are going to have.
